New Android Powered Mini CPU for just $ 65 – Rikomagic MK 802

I remember the day, when I bought Intel Pentium 4 HT processor based CPU in 2007 for Rs. 30,000 ($ 600), which is a single core processor, with 80 GB Hard Disk Drive (HDD), 1 GB RAM (DDR1), no discrete graphic cards added. The price does not include monitor, keyboard and mouse, just CPU alone.

Recently my friend ordered an Intel Pentium Dual core processor (Sandy Bridge architecture) based ASUS laptop from eBay for Rs. 20,000 ($ 400). It has 2GB DDR3 RAM, 320 GB HDD.

But now here is the great breakthrough, the new Mini CPU (in the size of a pen-drive) “MK 802″ is available for just $ 65. By default it will be running Android 4.0 operating system. It’s available in 2 colours, black and white as shown below.

MK 802 mini CPU has ARM Cortex A8 based AllRunner A10, single core 1.5 GHz processor, Mali 400 graphics processor, 512 MB RAM and 4GB internal memory. You may also add upto 32 GB microSD card as external storage.

In addition to these, it also comes with WiFi, and several wired connectivity options like mini HDMI port (mini HDMI to HDMI cable provided), micro USB port (micro USB to USB Female port available) etc.,

Are you still not clear what is MK 802?

  1. Connect this MK 802 (mini CPU) to a monitor and a mouse (Fly mouse or USB mouse)
  2. Switch ON both monitor and MK802
  3. You’re ready to run Android 4.0 OS
  4. No other thing is needed
  5. Yes! really. It’s a complete CPU. You can play most of the latest 3D and 2D games available in market.
  6. Performance of this device is comparable with HTC One V, Xperia Pro, Xperia Ray, Samsung Galaxy Ace smartphones.

    • They sell real item. I’m happy I received my MK802 II from w2comp. Order placed on last Friday and got it on this monday, only 3 days! The package and item with rikomagic wording. I found that this version is better than old mk802 because I can power off the device!

Hope next version rikomagic can add R/C module and come with remote controller!

  1. Can I use the MK802 with a hard-wired LAN connection to my modem/router?
If so, how do I do it?
    Thank you.
