Haswell will have 50% Higer Graphics Power than Ivy Bridge

Intel is up to release Ivy Bridge processors in April 1st week of 2012, in the meantime we have some information about Haswell processor. Unlike Ivy Bridge, Haswell will be manufactured on a new architecture, which will be released in 2013. Compared to Intel GMA graphics, HD 3000 in Sandy Bridge series added a better graphics power to the processor. Intel had already promised that Ivy Bridge will have 50% more graphical power than Sandy Bridge with Directx 11 support too. In the same trend, now Haswell graphics segment will be 50% faster than Ivy Bridge series.

Haswell Supports 4K resolution Video Acceleration
Another important ability of Haswell’s graphics is that it can accelerate upto 4K video resolution, which will be used in future in YouTube videos, or you may need this ability while watching videos in 4K resolution supported displays like Toshiba ZL2. Haswell will have a series of features in this segment such as faster encryption / decryption, image stabilization, noise reduction, kidney palette mapping, frame rate conversion algorithm etc.
Haswell in Ultrabooks
The first processors based on Haswell will arrive in 2013. Intel will split Haswell into 2 segments, first for desktop and enterprise, while the second will be for the mobile industry, being specially designed for Ultrabooks. The desktop version will consist of 2 and 4 processor cores with TDPs of 35, 45, 65 and 95W, including a dual channel memory controller DDR3/DDR3L and integrated Intel GT1 and GT2 graphics. Mobile processors too will be available in the same dual or quad core configurations, but the memory controller is limited to DDR3L DIMMs, while the integrated graphics is Intel GT3, which will be much powerful than the desktop versions. This may be because of the reason that Haswell based Ultrabooks are limited to dual core configurations only.
